The annual Bring Your Child to Work Day (BYCTWD) on April 24 saw around 80 bright-eyed young visitors flood the Facilities halls with joy and wonder. The day-long festivities included building birdhouses in the carpentry center, learning how to unclog drainage pipes, and experiencing lasers up close in the School of Architecture, among other activities. Many thanks to all who made this wonderful event possible!

Whig Hall

Visitors enjoyed a pizza lunch in Whig hall and met with the Dept. of Sustainability, the Fire Marshall, the Health Coach team, and more!

Demonstrations with the Electrical Shop were an exciting part of the day.

Visitors had a chance to use the power of printmaking to create their own PU orange canvas bags!

A visit to the Butler Sundial was a unique chance to see ancient technology in action.

Students worked together to create birdhouses and see the carpentry team at work.

The circuit-breaking workshop in the Electric Shop was a hit!

Team-building activities in Whig Hall gave our guests lots of opportunities to make friends and have fun.
